BARRE- Margaret W. (Murphy) Potter,102, formerly of Barre died peacefully on Sunday March 4,2018. Born in Worcester she was the daughter of late Martin and Winifred (Loftus) Murphy and the wife of the late Charles R. Potter who died in 2011.
Margaret leaves a loving family of 4 generations. Three sons, C. Ronald and his wife Barbara, James and his partner Claire, Jack and his wife Louise and one daughter Barbara J. Potter. 13 Grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great Great Grandchildren. Margaret is predeceased by one loving Great Grandson Marshall D.M. Potter, 4 siblings Edward, Katherine, Mary and James.
For many years Margaret was an active resident of Barre working in the public-school system at Ruggles Lane where she retired after 21 years. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church serving in the St. Joseph's Women's Guild. Margaret was also a member of the Barre Golden Agers and a life time member of the #4 Community Club. The family would like to thank the caring staff of the Worcester Health Center and the Notre Dame Hospice for their dedication and care of their mother.

Burial to follow in St Joseph's Cemetery.
