Obituary for Bettina LaBombard

NORTH BROOKFIELD- Bettina Albina Dudley La Bombard of Wilburton, Oklahoma passed away February 13, 2018, at the age of 93, in the presence of loved ones. She was born September 24, 1924, to Charles and Albina Dudley of Upper Jay, New York.

She will forever be remembered by her son Larry La Bombard (Pat), her other surviving Daughters-In-Law Linda La Bombard, Nancy (Wayne) Humbarger, and Cynthia La Bombard, her Grandchildren Tony La Bombard, Wayne (Lori) La Bombard, Bethany (Michael) Staiger, Colleen (Brandon) Caffee and Christine (Patrick) Courtade. She leaves behind many great grandchildren Koryn, Gabe, Ivey, Andrew, Jacob, Avery, Brandon, Colby, Jake, Zoe and Jenna, and great great grandchildren Casen and Chandler. She also has a living nephew, Gilbert.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Frederick La Bombard, her parents, her son Bruce Edward La Bombard, her brothers Stanley, Franklin, Robert, Gilbert, Palma and sister Argenta.

Bettina was a long time resident of North Brookfield and worked at Salem's Cross, the Barre Wool, the Quaboag Rubber Shop (now Vibram), and Wright's Sewing Notions. She was an accomplished swimmer and diver, enjoyed knitting and reading, and was an avid walker and bicyclist for many years.
