Obituary for Marcia A Dixson (Clark)

OAKHAM- Marcia Ann (Clark) Dixson- 82, passed away peacefully on on October 27,2015.

She was born in Enfield,MA. the daughter of William & Ruth Clark and graduated from Hardwick High School.

She was a devoted wife and mother, married to Alan "Clarence" Dixson for 60 years until his passing in 2014. Marcia was a longtime resident of Barre and owned and operated Maral Farm before retiring to Florida. She recently returned to live in Oakham with her daughter.

She leaves a son Brian of Gouverneur,NY.; 2 daughters Colleen Melanson & her husband Charlie of Oakham and Susan Dixson of Lusby,MD.; sisters Verna Roberts & Beverly Dexter both of Vermont; 17 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; many nieces & nephews and much loved brother and sister in laws. She was predeceased by sisters Ruth Colby and Janet Tilden.

Graveside services will be held on November 7, 2015 at 1:00PM in Thetford Center Cemetery in Vermont. Donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Pillsbury Funeral Home 44 Gilbert St. is directing arrangements. Please
