Obituary for Constance "Connie" Bellemer

SPENCER- Connie Bellemer, 57, of Browning Pond Circle, died on Monday, November 9,2015 at home and surrounded by her loved ones.

Connie was born in Exeter, NH, attended Nottingham Elementary School, where she had her mother as her teacher for 2nd and 3rd grades, and graduated from Dover (NH) High School in 1976. She waited tables for many years at Pomeroy’s Black and White in Spencer, MA, before returning to school at Quinsigamond Community College, fulfilling a lifelong dream of becoming an RN. She worked as a nurse at Family Health Centers of Worcester.

Connie was devoted to her family and hosted several reunions. She was also a creative self-taught cook and a daring and skilled do-it-yourselfer who taught herself upholstering, floor and wall tiling, sewing, gardening, and more. She will be remembered for her ready smile, friendliness, humor and wisdom.

She leaves her husband of 35 years, Charles Bellemer; sons Andrew Bellemer of Hickory, NC., Curtis Bellemer of Oakham and Jeffrey Bellemer of Spencer; her grandson Elias Bellemer; her sisters, Ginger Zinkowski, Emily Joyce, Martha Alie, Anne Barlow, and Sara Hubner; brothers Mark and John, and stepbrother John Gallant, as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Alvah “Chris” & Helen (Denton)Hubner; her brother William Hubner and her stepmother Ruth Gallant Hubner.

Friends and family are invited to attend memorial calling hours on Saturday, November 14,2015 from 10:00AM-12:00PM in Pillsbury Funeral Home 163 Main St. Spencer.
