Life Story for Adeline H Carroll (Hubacz)

Adeline H Carroll (Hubacz)
HARDWICK- Adeline H. (Hubacz) Carroll, 90, passed away peacefully at home on December 10,2015.

She was the daughter of the late John and Caroline (Biala) Hubacz.  She leaves her husband of sixty years Robert W. Carroll; her two sons Robert & his wife Marlene, their daughters Melissa and Abaigeal of North Grafton and William & his wife Mary, their son Edward of Liverpool, Nova Scotia.

She was predeceased by her brothers, Paul and Stanley Hubacz and her sisters, Mary O'Brien and Helen Armstrong.

When one thinks of Addie, the first three words that comes to mind is “Home”, the second is “Family”, and the third is “Love”.  Addie spent her life making a loving home for her beloved husband and family. Her homemaking talents were numerous and included flower gardening, canning vegetables, and knitting. Among all of her family, Addie’s cooking skills are legendary.

Addie loved her family and friends and had the ability to make us all feel special to her. Several generations of her family looked forward to visiting Aunt Addie’s and Uncle Bob’s. We could count on her for a loving welcome, a hug, a supportive listening ear, and something wonderfully tasty and comforting to eat.  She created lasting family memories for many generations with her annual holiday gatherings and “Open House” parties for her family and friends.  All were welcome!  She enjoyed great happiness, pride, and joy from her grandchildren, Eddie, Missy, and Abby.  We are blessed and grateful to have had Addie in our lives for so many generations.  She taught us all much, and set a lasting and great example of what home, family, and love truly mean.

The funeral will be held on Saturday,December 19,2015 at 11:00AM in the First Universalist Church 9 Ruggles Hill Rd.Hardwick. A calling hour will precede the funeral from 9:45-10:45AM in the church.
