Obituary for Jeanne C Kaleskas (Hibbard)

WEST BROOKFIELD - Jeanne E.( Hibbbard) Kaleskas,95, died Thursday, January 26,2017 after an illness in West Brookfield.She is predeceased by her husband William A.Kaleskas in 2003.
 
Jeanne leaves her son Richard W. Hibbard of Brookfield and his wife Phyllis; a stepdaughter Sandra Gercken of Spencer and extended family; three grandchildren, Melinda Kristoff of West Brookfield, Michelle Hemingway and her husband Mark of Sturbridge, Richard Hibbard Jr. of West Brookfield; 8 great grandchildren and 5 great, great grandchildren.
   
She was born in Lakewood,NJ. the daughter of Henry and Madeleine Closter from Luxembourg and she lived in West Brookfield for many years. Jeanne worked for many years in elder care services. She was a member of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church in West Brookfield and an active member of the West Brookfield senior center, singing with the Silvertones choral group there.
 
Jeanne enjoyed being with her family most of all. She loved music,dancing and singing. In her younger days she shared her beautiful voice in different venues singing duets with a dear friend who played the piano.She loved animals and especially enjoyed her pet toy poodles she had over the years. Jeanne was an avid collector of dolls and also collected angel figurines. She had a fervent belief in angels! Jeanne was dedicated to her church and her faith. The family would like to thank the staff at Quaboag Rehab. for all their dedicated and loving care provided to Jeanne during her stays there.

 
A funeral for Jeanne will be held Friday,February 3,2017 with a Mass at 11:00AM in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church Main St West Brookfield. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 5-7 PM in Pillsbury Funeral Home 3 West Brookfield Rd/ Rte 9 in Brookfield.
