The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Nicolo Simeone can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Visits with Nicki

Our relationship with Nicki started  with coffee at the local Dunkin Donuts surrounded by American Legion members and friends. He was a greeter and called everyone by name as they entered, and happy to share the news of the day especially sports, and  old memories.. of the battleships i.e. Wisconsin, Protius sub -tender etc. Our afternoon visits were relaxing as he listened to music in the background - favourite 40's and 50's  continuously or 'til his family called to check out the day.

Trips to Rt.32 with Sam,  and our outings  for fish dinner, or pizza once in a while locally kept him on his toes and loved to drive his car. Kept up with 'business' as ever,  and food shopping in Worcester until later this year.

We didn't dwell on the WW11 era too much, but it was satisfying for me to meet  this friendly gentleman with fun stories that kept people sane in those 1940's days.. Friends forever Nicki,  many thanks to all who helped us win that war...... and much admiration for others thereafter.  Hope you'll see the sunlight forever. God bless all who love peace, kindness, patience and understanding.  Love from 'over the pond'
