Condolence: To the Young family, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Jeff was a fantastic man and a great mentor for me when I worked at CIGNA. He so loved to travel and I'm so glad he was able to complete his 50 state visit list. My prayers are with all of you at this time. Carol
Condolence: Jeff was a wonderful person who will be greatly missed. He was always friendly, always patient and kind in the most frustrating situations and was a great leader that so many of us looked up to. He left a mark on so many and will be remembered always. Prayers to all.
Condolence: I am saddened and so sorry to hear of your loss. I worked with Jeff on several projects and he was always kind and willing to take the time to assist in order to make a difference. He will be missed.
Praying for you and your family, wishing you comfort and peace.
Condolence: I was saddened and shocked to hear the news of Jeff's passing . I worked with him when I first started at Cigna 6 years ago . He was my favorite .. We would always talk about his travels and I loved his eagerness to reach his goal of visiting every state ! I will never forget attending a picnic at his house and the tour of the historical home on his property that gave him an opportunity to share his love of the history he knew and about his family . I will miss seeing him in the aisles and saying Good Morning Jeff Young . He was an exceptional man and my sincere condolences are with all of you .
I was shocked and saddened to hear about Jeff's passing for we had communicated just two weeks ago about the historic run the Red Sox were on. Given I did not see him every workday, we always seemed to text about games and I know I could get a chuckle out of him, since he could not stand some of the teams I rooted for.
To me, your husband and father will always be remembered by us at Cigna. His legacy, smarts and innovation helped thousands of our customers with their health care needs. His heart was always in the right place for why we are doing the work that we do.
Most importantly, I will always remember talking to Jeff about matters outside of work, like sports, and laughing and joking in his office.
He and I shared our enjoyment of the Celtics, his growing appreciation for living in the South (as I now have) and most of all his ability to not take life too seriously.
Condolence: Jeff and I worked at donnelley marketing in the late 80s. Jeff was my favorite coworker, truly loved by everyone. Always a gentleman. Nice sense of humor, we worked on a few projects together and had a great time. He always had a special glisten in his eyes when he talked about his wife and girls. He really, really loved his family.
In 1987 we spent the summer collecting and trading baseball cards... I never did that with anyone else. We were like little kids all over again.
I always enjoyed interacting with jeff, he was smart and funny
He was loved and he is missed, so sorry for your loss, truly great guy
Condolence: Barbara, Megan, Kelley, and Erin - My deepest condolences on your loss. At Cigna, I had the privilege of having Jeff as part of my team for several years, and more recently as a valued colleague and friend. May you know how broadly his work helped people through the Country and how deeply he was respected by all of us who were fortunate to work with him. Through the years, our talks of shared travel aspirations, hearing of his service to his hometown, and above all knowing of his love and commitment to all of you, was for me a shining example of how to live a kind, authentic and full life. My thoughts are with you during this difficult time.
Condolence: I was devastated when I heard the news. He is a true leader. I never directly reported to him. However, he would make time to help me when I ran into challenges. I still remember his deep voice explaining a complicated model to me. His kindness and intelligence will be missed.
