HUBBARDSTON - Theodore R. “Ted” Beauvais ,82, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2019 at Rose Monahan Hospice home in Worcester with his loving wife, Carol of 59 years at his side. Ted and his family moved to Hubbardston in 1970 where his family all still currently resides.

He leaves his children Sharon Hardaker and her husband Timothy, Daniel Beauvais & his wife Maryellen and Mark & his wife Teresa Beauvais all of Hubbardston; his loving sister Susan Barthelmes & her companion David Beech of Holden; brothers Richard Beauvais & his wife Patricia of North Smithfield, RI and Joseph Beauvais & his wife Wendy of Spencer; proud grandfather of 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews; step-brothers Kevin and Brian Huard. He was pre-deceased by his Brother James who passed away in 1975, also his father Joseph Raymond Beauvais & Mother, Martha (Duvarney) Beauvais.
Ted worked many years as a draftsman at the George Meyer Company in West Boylston finally retiring from the George G. Allen Company in Barre as their chief engineer. He was a member of the Lions club in Hubbardston serving as their king lion, a lifetime member of the Hubbardston Rod and Gun club, the Gardner Pistol and Rifle Club, Saint Francis Assisi Parish in Barre and the finance committee for the town of Hubbardston for many years. He also served in the Army National Guard.Ted loved to travel and enjoyed hobbies such as competition shooting, hunting and fishing.
Friends and family are invited to attend a calling hour on Saurday,January 26,2019 from 9:30-10:30am in Pillsbury Funeral Home 96 South Barre Rd. Barre. A Memorial Mass will follow at 11:00AM in St. Thomas A Becket Church 380 Vernon Ave South Barre. Friends and family are welcome to gather for a celebration of life at the Hubbardston Rod and Gun club immediately after Mass. The burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Hubbardston at a later date. Contributions may be made in his honor to Saint Jude Children's Hospital.
