FRANKLIN- James Peter McNeil, 43, formerly of Spencer, MA, died suddenly on Friday,March 8,2019.

He leaves his wife Shannon (Collins) McNeil and son Sullivan James McNeil, age four; his mother, Claudia McNeil of Rhode Island; 7 siblings Mary, Jane, Dominic,Matthew,Benjamin, Paul Jr. and Charlie; numerous nieces and nephews. James also leaves his wife Shannon’s family, including her mother Janice and father Robert of East Brookfield, MA and sister-in-law Erin Collins and her partner Tom Murphy of Holland, MA.

James was born in New York, son of Claudia and the late Paul McNeil and grew up in Spencer. He worked in real estate and particularly enjoyed the design and renovation of houses before reselling them. His greatest passion and joy, however, came from spending time with his wife and son. He was gifted with a great sense of humor and a lightning fast wit that was sure to create a room full of laughter wherever he went. James will be greatly missed by his wife and son and all who knew and loved him best.

I am very sorry for your recent loss. It’s very difficult to lose someone we love. At this time, your grief may be inconsolable and words of comfort inadequate. However, I hope that in the days ahead you will be consoled by your happy memories of James and in God’s sure promise to restore him back to life on a beautiful paradise earth where sickness, pain, and death will be no more. Again, my sincerest condolences to the family and friends of James McNeil. (Acts 24:15; Psalm 37:29; Revelation 21:3-5) jw.org
