BARRE- William "Billy" Mortell,30, Passed away unexpectedly on March 21, 2020.

He leaves his parents Daniel and Maureen Mortell; his grandfather Daniel J Mortell and grandmother Mary O'Donnell; siblings Maggie Bentley, Adam, Nick and Travis Mortell, Haley, Dominic, Bella, and Enzo Maragioglo, Xavier Bransfield and Ryan Carroll; many aunts & uncles and their families; plus countless friends and loved ones. He is predeceased by his grandmother Lois Mortell and his grandfather Matthew F O'Donnell.

Billy was born in Dorchester, MA on August 12, 1989 to Kelly Bransfield and William Maragioglo both of Dorchester. He was later adopted by Daniel and Maureen Mortell of Barre,MA where he lived out his childhood and made many happy memories with his brothers by his side.

Billy struggled over the years with addiction and ultimately lost the battle when god called him home.

He was a kind and loving soul, he would give the last shirt off his back for his loved ones. He had a way of making you laugh and truely left a imprint on many. He will be missed more than words can be expressed.

A Celebration of Billy’s Life will be held at a later date to be determined. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Pillsbury Funeral Home 96 S.Barre Rd. Barre is in charge of arrangements.

Billz we have a ton of memories, I still see you in my dreams and can’t shake it. I have a Billz bag with your stuff you had left here before you went away to a new place. I walk down the trail we carved our names into the tree. I still have “I love you Kendra” on my mirror you wrote with your fingers. I have about a hundred pictures of us together. Creepy but I still have your last nips of fire ball you drank before you left my house that day and didn’t return. I promise I’m still getting the tattoo we planned for years together. Still have some of your clothes I promise I’ll never let any of it go. I wish I could have done something or helped in some way or knew what was really going on. I thank you for being you nd being so true to me and Dawson you’ve helped us so much over the years with moving and everything from start to end. I can’t believe the last words I heard from you was I love you Kendra I’ll call you rite back and I didn’t get a call back. My heart is still heavy I still don’t even know I dream about your handsome face and smile all the time. I feel your warm vibes a lot especially when I visit our favorite spots. I love you always will keep it trill I know you will and wouldn’t want anything different. ❤️
