GILBERTVILLE - Manuela “Minnie” Gustafson, 54, passed away suddenly at home on  Wednesday, June 24,2020. She leaves her husband Allan W. Gustafson, who shared life and love for 27 years.

Minnie was born and raised in Springfield by her parents Rose Mary and Charles (Tom) Thresher. She is survived by 8 children Carlos White, Nicholas Roche, Arthur Roche, Anthony Roche, Jamie Chase, Allan S. Gustafson, Lydia Gustafson, and Christina Gustafson; 10 siblings Heather, Shawn, Catherine, Barbara, Traci, Amanda, Brianna, Diosa, Carla, Carlos and Almondo; several grandchildren including Jude White, London White, Kenneth A. Kozminski, Lillya Chase; many aunts; uncles; nieces and nephews. The family would also like to recognize Minnie’s caretaker Steven Dubois who helped Minnie and became a dear friend. She was predeceased by her biological parents Constance (Peterson) Ramos and Carlos Zayas; her son Scott White and grandson William Clark.

Minnie spent several years in Florida working as both a CNA and a LPN before returning to Massachusetts and lived many years as a homemaker. She was a loving, generous and caring mother and grandmother. She lived every day of her life as a new day and also as if it were to be her last. Minnie walked many beaches, rowed many canoes and held many hands. Her path in life was walked with stride, and she would like to be remembered as such. She loved and was loved by many people, and touched so many lives. She would like her life celebrated with as much love and laughter as she carried.

Friends and family are invite to attend memorial calling hours on Friday, July 10,2020 from 4-6PM in Pillsbury Funeral Home 96 S.Barre Rd. Barre.
