Phyllis J Gemboski (Lilyestrom)

WORCESTER-Phyllis Jean Gemboski, 91 of Worcester, MA passed away peacefully on December 13, 2020 in the Worcester Health Center.

Phyllis was born in Worcester, MA to the late Waino and Jean Lilyestrom, and moved to Vero Beach, FL in 1988 coming from Charlton City, MA.

Her first job was at Fresh Silks in Worcester where she met the love of her life Edwin. She loved entertaining and welcomed family and friends in to her home, all the neighborhood kids loved coming to our house because they would always be welcomed.One of her last jobs before retirement was working at Hebert Candies which we were all very thankful for. Upon retirement they moved to Vero Beach, FL, and enjoyed life to the fullest.

Phyllis is lovingly remembered by her children, Steven (Karen) Gemboski, Gloria Cutting, Richard ( Kathryn) Gemboski, her four Grandchildren, Eric, Scott, Kelli and Taylor, and her four great Grandchildren Makayla, Ely, Kacey, and Mya. Phyllis was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years Edwin G. Gemboski, and her brother Richard J. Lilyestrom.

A Celebration of life will be held on Monday August 2, 2021, in Worcester, MA. Location and details at a later date, with a graveside burial in Pine Grove Cemetery in Spencer, MA. Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s /Parkinson Association.Arrangements are under the care of Pillsbury funeral Home 163 Main St. Spencer.
