FISKDALE- Robert H. "Bob" Hope,76, died on December 25,2020 in Worcester.

He was born on July 22,1944 the son of the late Henry and Evelyn (Minckler) Hope and lived many years in Brookfield, Brimfield and later moved to Fiskdale. Bob served in the US Army and was a member of the American Legion in West Brookfield. He was a former Police Officer in Brookfield,a skilled laborer for Kanzaki Specialty Paper and he managed the White Coach Motel in Brimield for several years along with his wife.

He leaves his wife Carol R. (Lavigne) Hope; a brother David Hope of Warren; a sister Suzanne St.Francis; 4 stepchildren Tina Karlon & Kellie Paquette both of N.Brookfield, Melissa Karlon of Fiskdale and Mark Karlon and his wife Nira of Webster; many nephews, nieces, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother and 3 sisters.

Bob was passionate about music and entertaining. He loved performing over the years at various functions and backyard barbecues. Everyone knew him as "Bob Hope" the entertainer. He was a jokester and loved to make people laugh. He also enjoyed fishing,antiques,flea markets,working on cars, road trips with his wife and traveling to see family in Vermont. He fought the good fight. During his long battle with various illnesses he suffered in silence and continued to make others laugh while enduring his physical battles. His sense of humor will be sorely missed.

A celebration of Bob's life will be held at a later date. Burial will be private with full Military Honors in Brookfield cemetery, Brookfield. Arrangements are under the care of Pillsbury Funeral home 3 West Brookfield Rd. Brookfield.
